The Office is BACK baby

So Glad the office is back. Watched the first episodes last night, thought it was Hilarious. I wondered how long they could carry the Kevin is retarded thing. Dwight spraying all the treats down with whatever. Awsome Few shows do I find as funny as the office. However the proposal to Pam was laim.

Be the Pig

On the radio the other day I heard a commercial with a slogan "Be the Pig". At breakfast consisting of Bacon and Eggs the Chicken is involved but the pig is committed. I seemed to have sturred up the Hens with my remarks about High Fructose Corn Syrup, reusable bags at walmart and random "Go Green acts, point is that all of those things are fine and dandy but without commitment to carry them through I see them as pointless. Commit if your going to use the reusable bags, great but be dadgum committed to taking to Walmart and not using the plastic ones if thats your choice. If HFCS is your commitment then, be committed and make the choice on an educated basis and not the popular choice and truly figure out when and why your consumming the ingredients. These are two of a multitude of examples I could have chosen, Ya I chose these because they stir everybody up, which was also my intention sorry if you took offense and don't know me. I just get fed up with everybody talking about going "Green" and never commiting to any single act that they stick with. I like to think that if I choose to do one or any of the "Green" acts I would take example from the PIG. Sure this whole discussion leaves me open to be a hipocrit, So what. Meghann thinks I take everything to the extreme she accussed me of that in her most recent moment of frustration, to that I say thanks I'll be the Pig. I only ask that if your going to challenge yourself or decide to cut or add something, small or big be the Pig.

So I ask what kind of Pig are you? What are you committed to for this season and do you have sound reason or popular reason. I think both are fine but dadgum have a reason. Committments fade and that not always a bad thing so whats your season and what kind of nonsesical commitments are driving you nuts?

Challenge set forth

I had a program with one of the physicians I call on, and he set a challenge for me that I excepted. So in keeping with the spirit of setting challenging goals that has been running rampit through my families communication I say to you that I'am going to compete in the "Hotter than Hell 100" in Witchita Falls next year. For those unfamiliar it is a 100 mi bike race. It hurts my butt and back just thinking about it.
Currently I only ride about 20-25 a week which I will need to step up a bit, much to Meghann's chagrin. However I think I can balance less time in the gym lifting with more on the bike training. Granted it will get cold soon and that means even less riding. Windchill is horrible and the cold gets into every crack in your clothing.

On other notes have you seen the commercials expelling the virtues of High fructose corn syrup. I'm a big fan. I just wish more commercials would come out talking about the constant bombardment of things this country grew up on and became great with. I'm pretty tired of being told by the crazy nut jobs that were slowly killing ourselves and destroying our nutrition and they plan on fixing that for me. I think if you want to fix it for yourself and pay attention to what you eat fine, more for me. Stupid reusable bags at the grocery store, biodegradable shoes, pretend cars that go for years on a fart, with no power no thanks. I'll take my fructose, plastic bags, and a little power in my car when I whirr by you in your pretend car. No man can grunt and flex while getting into a pryus.
Just my opinion thanks for doing all those "Green efforts though" in fact please do more so someone can pull my weight.
